Queens Parks Rangers boss, Neil Warnock has completed the loan signing of Spurs Youngster Kyle Walker on a one month loan deal. Talking to the media, the 20 year old right back claimed that Parks Rangers are an exciting, ball-playing side and is pleased to join the club. The player was hopeful that he can improve in his one month at the club. "I didn't really cross paths with Neil Warnock at Sheffield United because I signed scholarship terms when they got promoted and he left the following season. I didn't have much dealings with him but he's a good guy, a funny guy," claimed the Spurs full back.
West Bromwich Albion
West Bromwich midfielder Steven Reid believes that his versatility can perhaps aid him to establish himself in club’s first team this season. The former Republic of Ireland reserves player was confirmed as a regular right-back in Baggies last year promotional campaign, but has only managed a 17-minute substitute appearances in the center of the midfield when his side drew against Tottenham on the weekend. The player claimed that he was experienced enough to be aware when he got his chance and now only needs to get the right attitude, even if that means getting five or 10 minutes on the pitch. Reid added that he has the ability to play, as right-back but can also feature in the middle and be involved in the playmaking. The player even managed to play at the centre-back position last week for the reserves squad. The 29 year old claimed that he believes he can add to the much needed physicality which can prove to be the difference maker at Albion. The player added that following the arrival of Peter Odemwingie, Marc Antoine Fortune, Paul Scharner and himself, the side has a number of physical players in the side and such players are needed against sides like Stoke City and Blackburn.
 West Ham United
West Ham United boss, Avram Grant has revealed that striker Benni McCarthy is still unavailable for selection as he is not fit enough to feature in the premier league. The South African forward has been constantly criticized for his weight concerns since joining West Ham from Blackburn Rovers last January. McCarthy has managed only seven appearances for West Ham ever since and hasn’t so far managed to score a single goal for East London club. The player has been trying hard to lose the extra weight and even though he has dropped 8 kilos, the manager still sees the 32-year-old as unfit to start for the is not ready to start for the stressed Hammers. The manager claimed that he was surprised to see the forward in such a shape. Grant added that when the player was bought, he was brought to perform. Benni McCarthy’s home country then hosted the World Cup and Grant claimed that even though the player has a charming personality, he fails to understand why he hasn’t tried hard for fitness. The player didn’t take part in the World Cup and had ample time to gain his full fitness. The manager confirmed that the player has lost eight kilos claimed him to be an exciting player. Grant expected McCarthy to show his true colours in due time and that are what counts.
“If I look at the past about many things I will be like many people here at the club who always say 'last year was not this, not that'... I say to everybody 'I don't care what happened. I'm looking forward', and so is Benni McCarthy,” claimed manager Avram Grant
West Ham United have struggled so far this season as the side has lost all four of their opening fixtures this season. Their latest defeat came at the hands of Premier League Champions Chelsea, when the Blues thrashed the Hammer 3-1 at Upton Park.
