Does any1 know anything about healers?

Question

Im just curious as to how people know they are healers. For example my mum knew a women once who's maiden name was the same as her married name, and when she got married she had the cure for whooping cough. And ive also heard if u are the 7th son of a 7th son u also can get it. Does anyone know of any other examples? Just bein curious.

Healer implies "one who heals." Though people associate anyone offering "natural" healing as a healer, I've avoided the term. I believe healing is through one's own spirit (God), albeit catalyzed by an external person or source. We each have different gifts, every single human alive. Free will allows us to carry it to the grave, rather than share it with others.

There are REAL healers and lots of fakes claiming to be healers.

Most healers are taught their skills, such as taking lessons and becoming a Reiki Master.

imo anyone can be a healer with the right knowledge, tools and mindset.

its all about energy.

i haven't recovered my "healing abilities" yet. but my skepticism about mine is probably a big part of why i have trouble grasping them. but everyone from astrologers to palm readers, multiple psychics and even my pastor when i was a teen claim that i have natural hands-on healing abilities.

a good place to start for energy type healing or learning about it is reiki.

there are many, many other healing modalities along with reiki...but like i said, its a good start.
