Bolton Wanderers’ Zat Knight urges team to work hard

Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight admitted it had not been an enjoyable Christmas period for him since he was focused on helping the club climb out of the relegation zone.
Owen Coyle’s side have had a terrible start to the 2011-2012 season and managed to climb out of the bottom spot on the Premier League table with a win over Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385. However, they still remain in the bottom three of the table.
Knight, who was one of the many players who skipped the seasonal party held by the club, revealed he was not in the best of the moods due to the club’s poor form. It was due to this that he had not enjoyed Christmas as he was entirely focused on helping
the Trotter’s recover from their poor start.
Knight said while speaking to reporters:
“I've never been at the bottom of the league before - and it was kind of hard to go out and have a good time.”
The 31-year-old England international revealed it was disheartening to watch his team in the bottom half of the table. He revealed it was tough, especially since it was up to the player’s to improve the performance and form of the team.
He revealed:

It's not very nice when you hear Bolton have the worst defensive record. As a defender - you want to do something about it.”

before.
Knight continued:
“We had a good season last season and maybe some thought we'd be a bit better. But we can't live on last season's reputation.
Sometimes you need to work twice as hard.”
He urged his team to work harder than before to achieve all their aims this season.
