He could have been (and most likely was) doing steroids at 16 years old!! They give them away like candy down there!!!

  1. Well, it could be due to injury and players having an off-year here or there.

  2. i dont know wats wrong with him all i know is that he better start coming in in the clutch if the yankees have any hope of making the playoffs. in my opinion he needs to start acting like the best player in the majors and the 25 million dollar man, but to answer your question it was never proven that he ever used any type of performance enhancing drugs they have been trying to pin him with that for around 7 or more years.

  3. your roids accusations are boring already.

  4. A-Rod is still the LT of major league baseball. He does not pitch for his team. His numbers are down from hanging out with maddona.

  5. It still has yet to be proven that Arod has ever done steroids and until I see that happen I still believe he never took steroids.  He came into this league at 18 years old, all the growth we've seen out of him is simply him becoming a man.

  6. Last year he was after a new contract so it was in ARod's best interest to do well.  Since this year it doesn't matter to his own personal wealth, he just goes about putting up quiet numbers.  The stats may be there, but the impact is not.

  7. OK I have always hated A-rod even before he was a Yankee. He's always been an arrogant prick and thinks his s**t doesnt stink. He's got the worse looking purple lips and he looks like he wears lip gloss.

But, I will stand up and cheer the day he breaks that cheating, roided out, piece of c**p Barry Bonds for the all-time HR record. I believe A-rod has never done roids.

The day someone breaks 61 HR's is the day I see that guy as the guy who beat Roger Maris. Not those other clowns. The last time we had anyone close was the year Ryan Howard hit 58 and that was incredible. NO one is even going to come close yo 50 this year.

not saying no one did drugs but there are some that didnt and until they get better testing we'll never know.

  8. You cant be serious...the same testing that is in place this year was in place last year. Randon tests that no one can predict. He isnt & wasnt on steroids. He was the man last year for RBI's w/RISP. You just have to understand baseball to see what is going on this year. Guys dont usually do well in back to back years w/RISP because pitchers figure out that the guy can do it so they dont really give him that much to hit. Just read baseball 101 & you will get it eventually!

  9. If people are incented by money to succeed, once he signed this 'last contract', what does he have to do to collect, simply be healthy.

He may have looked at the team and say "well, we aren't going to compete this year so why risk getting hurt, I will take it easy"

I don't know if you ever watch survivor, but two seasons ago, they had a poker player, Jean-Robert on.

His strategy was to seem as lazy as possible so that when he does start to work, people will notice it more.

Arod had his career best year last year.  and he's been a great/good/great/good player all his career, this is just a down year for him.

Perhaps his contract should have reflected that performance.

  10. Try to hit a ball coming in at 95 mph you have probably 2 tenths of a second to make contact let alone hit the ball out after seeing that you get a 81 mph curve 17 inch break.....its all about hand and eye coordination and plus everyone uses them soooo shut it who cares watch the game and enjoy because what he does is a little beyond steroids its pure talent

  11. LOL! A-roid was injured for part of the season, so I guess that explains the spike down on his numbers. Personally, I think he's on protein supplements.

  12. His stats are still close to in line with his career numbers except the RBIs.  If nobody gets on base in front of him, he can't knock them in.  Not that he didn't have his chances last night.  He's a tool.

  13. Never have truer words been spoken.

The baseball gods are getting even with his cheating behynd.  0 for 5 yesterday, he hit into two double plays and struck out to end the game.

I couldnt agree more and Im LMAO at the fools that defend the aroidal cheat.
