okay, leopard geckos usually drop their tails, this means that their tails wil fall of and then regrow as part of their defence system, however it sounds like it has caught part of your geckos body. or it would ave just fallen off. Alternatively their could be a problem with his defence system, i do not know if that is possible, either dont panic and seek out a vets help
