Open iTunes on your computer. Make sure you have the latest software version. Then connect your iPad to the computer.

    2

Select your iPad in iTunes. Appears in the sidebar under "Devices."

    3

Click "Restore" in the window "Summary".

    4

Click "Backup". When completed, an additional window will open.

    5

Click "Restore" in the additional window. When the iPad has been restored to its configuration factory , a window will inform you that the iPod will restart. Click "Ok".

    6

Complete the reset process by charging an endorsement or choosing "Set as a new iPad." Selecting the backup option, you can select which of your recent backups you would like to install the additional window.
