I think your mom has to know as early as possible. And it must come from you and no one else, because people usually get frustrated when they find something out from someone else. And well...just be honest! She's your mom after all, I'm sure she'll understand. Maybe she'll have a hard time accepting at first but well..only time can heaaaal..
