To have a college degree is important as many companies demand students to have at least a bachelor's degree to be considered eligible for the post while a degree is important, employers also look at a candidate experience. It is significant for hiring managers to analyze education and experience when considering a candidate for a position. A degree elaborates the candidate's ability to complete academic task. Employers ranked degrees on high level because it is a good representation of a person's mental capability. As most the employers want to hire smart individuals to be part of their team. Experience is important because this explain that a person has worked in a professional setting earlier. Working in a professional setting enables an applicant about work ethics, as well as the different strategies to handle different critical situations. It also gives analytical skills to the candidate that cannot be learned in school. Experience also shows that applicant is familiar with how the business works in order to gain profits and establishing name in market .An experienced person will likely require less training than an inexperienced candidate.

    Many applicants submit letters of recommendation from their teachers while those who have experience submit recommendations from previous employers. But an academic recommendation represents the candidate's ability to understand theory work, but on the same time experience shows how the candidate has tackled a problem professionally. It is an admitted fact that degree and experience both are equally important, some industries prefer one over the other
