Would this count as college credit

I need 24 credits to graduate high school and I'm planning on earning 26 credits. They're not honors or AP classes just regular. Would those extra 2 credits count towards college credit? Would it help me get into a college and find a job while I'm in college? Sources?

  1. No. Extra high school credits are just extra high school credits.

You might want to look into the possibility of taking some of your classes through a local community college. That could look good for admissions and you may be able to use them toward your eventual degree.

  2. For you to earn college credit in high school, the teacher teaching the class would have to be certified or whatever through a college.  You would then take the class in your high school, but you would have to pay the college to receive the credit.  What you're talking about doesn't sound like college credit, although it will look good when you're applying to colleges.

  3. haha no way.
