  1. To pick up free soft p**n from Canadian tv channels.

  2. nobody will tell u this but the eiffel tower was built to harness evil powers an send them down to earth just as the pyramids do

  3. The world fair and the French people hated the Eiffel Tower.

  4. it was built because of the 100th anniversary of the french revolution. or the 100th anniversary of something very massive that happened in france.

  5. "The structure was built between 1887 and 1889 as the entrance arch for the Exposition Universelle, a World's Fair marking the centennial celebration of the French Revolution. Eiffel originally planned to build the tower in Barcelona, for the Universal Exposition of 1888, but those responsible at the Barcelona city hall thought it was a strange and expensive construction, which did not fit into the design of the city. After the refusal of the Consistory of Barcelona, Eiffel submitted his draft to those responsible for the Universal Exhibition in Paris, where he would build his tower a year later, in 1889."

  6. Regardless of whether the french hated it or not. It was built for the World's Fair which was a way to show off wealth and power similar to the current day's OLYMPICS. The french were competing with the British at the time and thus the Eiffel Tower was for show.
