Why don't full email addresses show on my yahoo groups page?

I'm having problems on my yahoo groups page with the full emails and links showing. I'm using verizon dsl, but I also tried going to the groups page from internet explorer to no avail. It shows as (ex. rsmith@...) so when I try to copy and paste into my email that is all that copies. Someone from my group suggested trying firefox, which I have heard a lot of good things about, but if I can make adjustments with what I have I would like to do so. Anybody have any suggestions???

[Replying to your details]  Yahoo masks them automatically.  The group owner and group moderators CAN always see the full addresses but members cannot.

Email addresses on yahoo groups are masked by Yahoo to protect members from spammers.  The only ones that can actually see the whole email address is the email address owner and the owner/moderators of the group.  You can see your own full email address but you can't see the full addresses of the other members.

There is no way that you can adjust this Yahoo feature. It makes no difference what internet service you have nor if you are viewing them with IE, Firefox or any other operating system's browser.  (I use Firefox and IE).

a new browser wont change this. full e-mail addresses only fully are viewable to owners- there is no way to change this, this is a safety measure against spammers from taking e-mail addresses off groups- it will only show up in the inboxes of memebrs when you post, since the addess is linked to your account, that's what ends up in inboxes.
