Why couldn't God have created science?

By discovering Gravity (for example) how is that disproving that there is a God? Maybe He created it? With Science, one more discovery will always lead to another Question! And at one point maybe the answer to that Question might be God!

  1. Science doesn't rule out the possibility of a God or gods, and has nothing whatsoever to do with attempting to disprove the existence of such faith-based entities.

  2. If a god exists; then I will accept that all science can be traced to him/her/it.  I'm still waiting on proof of the existence.

  3. If you claim to be a logical person, then you can not say that there is no god because there is no reason to believe that there is one.  Of course everything that we have ever learned in life seems to say that there is no way there could be a god, because the probability is so incredibly miniscule.  Inversely, you must think of how incredibly unlikely it was that a simple amino acid has evolved so far and has become intellegent life.  I know I sound like I dont care when I say this, but there really is no answer to this question.  Because the world and the universe is so unlikely in itself, there is no reason why there is or isnt a god.  There will never be any proof of either theory frankly.  If you had no idea the human race or earth existed, and you were just a floating entity, asked by another floating entity if you thought that there could be a planet that, from nothing, created not only life, but life intelligent enough to use logic, you would say that there is no chance.  What bothers me is that no one will ever no, and the human race will be extinct far before we find out a good deal about the universe.  There is no doubt in my mind that there is life somewhere out there, which is the only comfort when I wonder what will happen when we are gone, will the universe just stagnate? Will the universe ever just end?  I choose to believe that, since the universe is constantly expanding, that it naturally goes through cycles, where it expands so much that it eventually begins to contract.  This contracting happens over a period of time that is unfathomable but when it is so contracted, it explodes just like the big bang.  Therefore, the universe may have done this before, and there may have been life like us before the last big bang.  Who knows...I write so much because this issue really bothers me.  I just want to know that when the edge of the universe is reached, what is there next?  Is it even possible to have an end?  There cant be less than nothing, because there are already areas of nothing (absolute zero).  How can you distinguish less than nothing from nothing....my brain is fried.

  4. I agree with you completely.  Why do things such as creation and evolution have to be mutually exclusive for some people?  For me, I think you can easily believe both.  It can be interesting to explore your own personal beliefs!

  5. God didn't create science, science is just a tool we use to show or explain how God's creation works.

  6. It's not disproving a god.  You can't prove that something exists - but that certainly doesn't mean that everything you can imagine actually exists somewhere.  All it does it show us that hey, there's a natural law that dictates how stuff falls and orbits - we don't need to say 'god did that' anymore, we can write an equation for it and understand it.

The more we learn, the less we have to give a god credit for.  And we've never found anything that couldn't potentially have a natural explanation.  So no need for a god.

  7. we are muslims . and muslims basicly depend on this concept.

  8. Science doesn't disprove god.

The problem is there's no logical reason to believe god exists.  There's just as much evidence for the existence of the flying spaghetti monster as there is for god.  And I'm not going to believe in something just because someone tells me to, show me *why* I should believe.

  9. Yeah!! Right on!  And why not Mary Poppins? Could'a  been her?.. No-one can PROVE it, can they?

Mind you, Me, I (I mean MYSELF...)  think deep down it was SNOW WHITE !! Or one of those little sneaky fellas with the beards! Somehow,  just don't TRUST little men with poky hats and white beards...

  10. Science is God, God is Science. Just as God is everything, Everything is God. You me him her it this that.

    All one baby!

  11. And in the beginning, God created evolution.
