I'm Asian and I fit that annoying stereotype. I'm trying to change by developing my social skills, but in the end I still have that shy bashful personality. In most places I go to hispanics tend to be loud, noisy, and even arrogant. The quiet ones who aren't really shy still tend to be straightforward and agressive. While the majority of Asians tend to be shy, quiet, and stick to their own kinds. Why is it this way?

  1. Well, I have a friend from the Philippines and I asked her why she's so shy and quiet. She said that she didn't want to embarrass herself and say the wrong things or something, and she also said that she considers it shameful to act...well, loud and rowdy.

Pretty much our whole class loves to talk, but she always sits next to the window and stares at the scenery. I don't think that all Asians are quiet, but they are pretty reserved compared to Hispanics.
