  1.  Hillside messengers is a company that claims to reunite old friends and colleagues, in reality they are a debt collecting company, they work on behalf of other debt collectors. They have an  objectionable working strategy, as they trick people in revealing their addresses, which they give to the companies whom they owe money. They have a bogus website, its advisable to shun all contacts with Hillside messengers.

  2. I also received a slip from this company. I do not owe any money or am not behind with my credit card payments. My credit rating is excellent. But when I checked my credit portfolio on experien hillside have done a search on me and I did not request the search or give my permission. I'm gee concerned and worried .

  3. Hi
There are a few companies involved here with seperate websites
hillside messengers, hillside services and trace and connect. They are all connected and David John Williams runs them. No matter what they say they are, their main line of business is tracing for debt collecting. I have checked the website registrations and if you look at the single pathetic page at www.hillsidemessenger.co. uk the email address given is on the domain hillsideservices.co.uk. and the registered office is the same cannock address. It is my opinion that this site is to mislead people into thinking that it is a messenger service. Yes they will pass on a message but how many debtors class their creditors as friends or family. The other site owned by this group www.traceandconnect.com or .co.uk comes straight to the debt collecting point. The registrant for trace and connect is you guessed it David Williams trading as hillside services limited. The final proof is their registration details on the CSA website

    Hillside Services Ltd
Services: Consumer debt collection, Card Recovery, bailiff & Process Serving, Consultancy, Advice, Training, Tracing
    Contact: Mr D Williams
    Email: info@hillsideservices.co. uk
    Website:
    Telephone: 01484 722995
Address: Clifton House, Clifton Mills, Brighouse, HD6 4JJ

So there you have it. I am fortunate to have no outstanding debts but I am investigating this company because they sent one of their in my opinion misleading and pathetic message slips to my address for a previous occupant. I consider companies like this as taking advantage and making money out of people who may be unfortunate in falling into debt. I also blame the banks for hiring them to do their dirty work. I did ring this organisation and asked to speak to david williams. They said he was out. I asked for his email address and his home address. They would not give it. I then asked them as a tracing company would they do one for me as I want to trace david williams and offered to pay. They said to write in but they only usually did business with large organistaions.
So they can give it out but they cant take. Pathetic.
    all the best

  4. They are a tracing agent i have managed to find out, probably do find old friends and things aswell as working for DCAs and apparently high street banks. spoke to a guy their who was actually helpful.

  5. Thye are a debt collecting agency using very questionable practices. For example they pretend to be a messenger service, they are not, they have a bogus webiste that purports to re-unite long lost friends. My advice, totally avoid all contact with them.

  6. They are a company that work on behalf of debt collectors to find your current address details.

They trick you into providing your current address and or phone number so that they can pass your information back to the company whom you owe money to; then they can hound you for payment.

This also is the case if any of your family owe money for debts. They obtained your details from somewhere (probably electoral register) and are trying to prove the residency of yourself, or a family member.

My advise is to ignore them. They will give up on you eventually.
