Who's the guy that creates slogans and logos for companies?

Is there a certain job title that does only that or is it just one part of a guys job..

It's the job of the advertising agency.  If the company can spend a lot of money, they get a team; otherwise it's on the shoulders of one poor rep.

Usually the Creative Head of the advertising firm works with the Brand Manager, (or Marketing Head) of the company for which the logo needs to be created.

They work with a big team of people.....but often the idea of a logo, catchphrase, or a branding trademark might spring from ANYbody within the company, and the creative team just polishes and works on it to make it official.

It's a fun job!
