  1. Phaedra or Ariadne very pretty...

  2. Ariadne and Phaedra are my favorites!  Both sound absolutely beautiful (in the time of the ancient Greeks and now in the twenty-first century lol) and definitely unique (like all of these here lol).

A couple of those on your list, though really great and classic sounding, will probably have a little more difficulty fitting in today (if that's the context you're going to use them in), like Eurydice (even though I love how that sounds, though I might be saying it wrong lol: Your-e-dee-kay?) or Pandora (I can only imagine how kids would use that against her lol).

And the others, besides, Ariadne and Phaedra, just don't sound very pretty to my modern ear lol.  Iphigenia and Kalliroe, Pasiphae and Panoraia sound either too difficult or hard to pronounce, or remind me of random words that I don't find too appealing in a girl's name (Pasiphae, pacify; Panoraia, panorama lol).

    Good luck!

  3. Pandora

  4. Ariadne or Panoraia.

I know I'm not supposed to suggest but Kalliope is lovely.

  5. I'll give Pandora a thumbs ^ up. That's an awesome name for a girl.

  6. These are very unique, I like them.

    I like Ariadne, and Iphigenia.

Thanks for not giving your children boring names like everyone else on here does.

  7. Eurydice... is pronounced U-ra-di-ke

might not go very well with English speakers.

Nah none on the list ... pops out at me ... I like my name better Cynthus.

    What do they mean anyway.

  8. I really like Ariadne!

  9. Phaedra is really pretty.  The others I can't pronounce.  Except Pandora and I don't like that because of Pandoras box.

  10. I like Pasiphae and Iphigenia! Ariadne would be easiest on her teachers. These are all lovely names with loads of history. She might have to pronounce them to anyone who was not Greek.

The more I look at them the better I like them! It's nice to see unusual names that are not made up.

    Great Choices

  11. I like Ariadne best ... while I like Pandora, there's a negative connotation with that name that would probably result in her hearing endless puns & wisecracks.

  12. Eurydice and Ariadne

  13. Ariadne

  14. Phaedra.  I love this name!

  15. Ariadne is lovely!
