  1. They are both wrong. None of them ever happened/happens.

  2. Reliable is not the best word to use here. Theories require observable proof, the big bang had substantial evidence of of its predictions. Evolution has a few gaps that need finding. I will go with the big bang.

  3. A theory is based on testing a hypothesis or series of hypotheses, observations, and even natural laws. For example, the weather bureau must combine many hypotheses about local weather phenomena in order to come up with a theory that explains weather on a worldwide basis.

In science, the word theory refers to a comprehensive explanation of an important feature of nature that is supported by many facts gathered over time.

The fact is that the theory of evolution has many pieces of evidence that strengthen it's argument, gathered over the one-hundred plus years of it's existence. It in all actuality it has never even come close to being falsified by contradictory evidence, or alternate explanations. It is one of the true strongholds modern science has.

The goal of the "Scientific Method" is:

    1. Measurement & Description

    2. Understanding & Prediction

    3. Application and/or Control

As theories go, either one has great predictive value for aiding the study of certain phenomena we encounter.

  4. They're not mutually exclusive.  But if your just asking which theory has more evidence to support it, I'd say the Big Bang is pretty obvious whereas evolutionary evidence is just now starting to make sense (with DNA research).

  5. before making any theories the scientist must keep in mind one thing. and that is "if they say that the big bang occured billions of years ago or they say that evolution beginned and small molecules kept on combining with each other.they should answer my one question that who created these molecule and all the universe before it can evolute or big bang occurs are all these things the earth the stars the sun and all the billions of glaxies created by themselves. "

the answer to this question is that there is a SUPREME CREATOR "ALLAH" WHICH HAS CREATED ALL THESE THINGS THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTHS AND HE IS THE ONE WHO IS CONTROLLING ALL THE PROCESSES OF THE UNVERSE ALL LIFE AND DEATH IS IN HIS HANDS.

  6. The terms reliable and theory are contradictory, making the term "reliable theory" an oxymoron.

Much like, "If we had ham, we could have ham and eggs, if we had eggs."

    Entertaining, but not useful.

  7. As I stated in the biology forum, evolution is the most well supported theory in all of science, and the physical processes responsible for it are observed and considered fact.  Big bang can't touch that at the current time, although it's also pretty reliable.

"The terms reliable and theory are contradictory, making the term "reliable theory" an oxymoron."

Anyone who actually understands what the word 'theory' means in a scientific context knows this is wrong.

  8. This is a good answer, CONGRATULATION!

I think that this is a answers with 2 parts...

    1st religion and 2nd scientifically.

the priests told as, that GOD created the heavens and earth, created the sea creatures and birds, made the sun, moon and stars, made all land creatures, created man (both Adam and Eve).

but the  scientifically told as that

    - the universe has expanded from a primordial hot and dense initial condition at some finite time in the past and continues to expand to this day and the universe has a calculated age of 13.73 ± 0.12 billion years.....

    and

-In biology, evolution is the process of change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms from one generation to the next.

so, if you know ´´Which is the more reliable theory?

Evolution or the Big Bang?¨¨, I think that both are really, really reliable to me, because all of tham was studiate and have an great explication and I don´t think that one is more or less than the other.

  9. They are both reliable theories.
