Which is better Syrian hamster or Dwarf

I need to buy a hamster but want to know the pros and cons of each kind. PLEAS HELP

ok first things first ive had both of these types. Dwarf hamsters have to be bought in pairs, due to they need more company. When we bought 2 of them in a pair, they never stopped fighting and drew blood. we ended up separating them. But one used to bite us everytime we tryed to go near her. Syrian is the way to go, ive found this breed seems to use the owner as its company and enjoys you giving them attention. Both breeds can turn out nasty if not handled enough. If you choose dwarf be aware they can be more viscous then a syrian and their bites really hurt!

I don't know about Syrian hamsters, but the Dwarf we had was mean, bit all of us, so we took it back to the store.  It was cute, but mean!

Dwarf Hamsters are communal. You can keep more than one, but they usually have to be from the same litter. Dwarf Hamsters are also more delicate. Contrary to popular belief, they can be very very tame, but you have to work with them. I have four Winter Whites and have tamed three of them completely. Those three don't bite at all now, even though they did when I first got them.

Syrian hamsters are bigger, and much tamer by nature. But they are extremely territorial, so you cant have more than one in the same cage, even from the same litter. Once they become adults, they hate other Syrian hamsters.

Personally, I like dwarf hamsters better because they can be kept in groups instead of just one at a time. I also like the way they are shaped...they have bigger eyes in proportion to their bodies, which makes them look like Disney characters. They also seem to be clumsier than Syrians, which makes them easier to control but also more fun to watch in my opinion. Winter Whites also turn white depending on the season.
