When my gums bleed..?

Is it bad if my gums bleed when I brush my teeth?

I mean, I don't brush too hard. I still have "baby" teeth

and that one's a little loose, but the bleeding came before that too.

  1. Do not use normal mouthwash, if you have gingivitus it wont help but could make things worse - brush twice a day morning and night, floss at night (important to floss even though its not too comfortable) and rinse with a non alcoholic mouthwash and things will settle down.

If you smoke, cut down or ideally stop, smoking irritates the gums.

You should see your dentist though, there could be a couple of reasons for the bleeding, so get the right advice for you xx
