Whats the hardest veg to grow?

i was thinking i might take a shot at it... i dont know why lol but i would love to give something had a try.. =)

i'm still rather new to gardening and what i have growing now is going well and is just going a little to easy.. =) so any ideas would be good =)

Try garlic... there is certainly a trick to it, or how about onions, big onions.

It depends where you live. You cannot grow tropical vegetables in the northern US. You cannot grow lettuce and potatoes very well in Florida.

If you want a challenge, try growing an asparagus bed. You will have to do a lot of work and wait several years before you get any crop.

Or find out your climate zone, and try growing something from slightly south of your zone. Here in Pennsylvania we can just grow fig trees, with a lot of care and effort.
