What is the slope of a line parallel to the line whose equation is y= -1/2 x 3 ?

  1. slope equals -1/2.......


  2. the slope of a parallel line is the same so -1/2 BUT when it is perpendiculer it is -1/m or -1/the slope of the line

  3. y = mx + b

    m is the slope

    parallel lines have the same slope

    So, the slope is -½
