What is the next number in this pattern: 1,8,27,64,125?

Helping daughter with Geometry and I forget how to do this pattern stuff.

They're all to the 3rd power.

1^3 = 1

2^3 = 8

3^3 = 27

etc etc

so the next one is 6^3 which is 216.

Each number is the number from a cubed number.

1^3 = 1

2^3 = 8

3^3 = 27

etc.

so 6^3 = 216
