  1. Bush Gardens in Tampa, Florida

  2. Cedar Point hands down. Roller Coaster capitol of the world. It has a good waterpark also.

  3. Six Flags New England

  4. That is a very open ended question that can't be fully answered without more info.  Best theme park for you, me, kids?  Best for which age group or ride style?  Do you like thrill rides like rollercoasters or do you like more themed rides like Disney's "It's a Small World"?

Also keep in mind that I have not been to anywhere near all the theme and water parks in the USA and Canada, so I can only judge by those that I have been to.

For myself, here is the short answer:

    Thrill Park:   Kings Island

Theme Park (more family oriented):  Disney's Magic Kingdom

Water Park:  Wet 'n Wild in Orlando, FL or (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon in Disney World.  (Although I really want to try Sea Worlds new water park called Aquatica)

I really like Kings Island near Cincinnati, OH.  The park has a great ambiance and the layout reminds me a lot of Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida.  You have a main street from the entrance with fountains and leading up to a replica of the Eiffel Tower (instead of Cinderellas Castle), which is the hub of the park.  Then you have different worlds or lands around that central hub.  It has been voted the best park for kids (which i have 2) the last few years.  It also has 2 of the best wooden coasters in the world in the Beast and Son of Beast.  An indoor launched coaster in Flight of Fear and a flying coaster in Firehawk.

Disney's Magic Kingdom is the best family oriented theme park in my opinion.

Wet 'n Wild in Orlando, FL is probably the best water park i have been to.  I also really enjoyed Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon in Disney World, with the nod going to Blizzard Beach.  Just something about doing water slides and swimming when all around you it looks like snow.

  5. Six Flags New England ROCKS!

  6. WaterWorld in Cal. as far as water parks in my opinion.

and disneyworld six flags is fun to for more of thriller rides i guess
