  1. Chamomile tea is an herbal tea which is used to treat stomach problems, sleep issues, liver disorders and pregnancy ailments. In my personal experience, it is a very good intake for inducing sleep when taken near bed time. The tea has a nice fruity aroma, apple like, and can be easily available off the shelf. I use to regularly during cold winters without any worry of gaining weight. This is because it has very little to zero nutritional value.

The best way to prepare it is to dip the chamomile petals inside boiling water for just one minute. Should you leave the petals inside any longer, these petals will burn and the taste will be ruined. It is pertinent to mention that some people can be allergic to chamomile tea and a doctor’s consultation is must before it can be used.

  2.  Chamomile is not the member of tea plant family, but it makes a soothing tea when infused in hot water. The tea has been used by herbalists for ages due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties and also helps people sleep when taken near the bedtime.

This type of tea is particularly known for its aroma, which has an apple feel to it. In fact, it is this aroma which is the basis for the rather difficult name, chamomile, a Greek terminology meaning grounded apples.

There is no tough technique involved in the preparation of this tea. You can easily find the chamomile petals from any herbal or super store. All you have to do is to boil the water and put these petals inside it. Let the petals infuse their flavor for three to five minutes and then sieve out the content into a mug.
