What happens if you press your breast bud???

hi,

ummm well i am 11 years old and i have a breast bud and what happens if u presss it???? people say its bad my mom told me to leave it alone or i mite lose the breast bud and not grow them if i presss it! is that true??? im really worried and if u can give me any advice on how to not think about it!!!! plz help me o also y do i only feel my breast bud at the bottom of the breast and at the top its like only air when i press it i feeel only air when its big????? help plz i willl become your fan and i will get u as best answer!!!!

Press away, but it might get sore after a while.

You press on it and it hurts.

You won't loose it, but it hurts REALLY bad when people suddenly hit it or you bump it in to anything.

why are you worried?  your breast buds are telling you that everything in your development (as a young lady) is normal;  the "air" is indicating that your b*****s are just getting ready for more growht which is why you feel soft at the top and formed or you are able to feel its development at the bottom of its formation.  try to think about other things and when you do think about your breast buds just ignore the thought; you will not lose them but try to resist pressing on them..

i personally think its fine because nothink happened to me but if you want to be on the safe side just leave it and the reason half of it feels airy is because it isent yet developed so i woulden't worry too much btw i no exactly how you feel because iim only 12 myself :D

Your fine. Everything is perfectly normal, sweetie. You can really think about it, but in that case, don't push on it with too much momentum because it may hurt. You're b*****s won't stop growing, you're fine. You shouldn't be worried, everything is fine. Your b*****s grow at their own rate, so they may do some pretty weird things like you described, there is nothing wrong. Good luck!

hi hun. As a nurse i know so well that girls have different b*****s when they are growing up and everything can feel strange and different! Sometimes when b*****s just start growing, they always feel heavier at the bottom. Most women when they are young adults, will have heavier b*****s at the bottom than at the top half of the breast! Thats the way normally they grow, as the bottom is heavier as thats where they are developing the nipple and breast growth. This is nothing to worry about, just sit back and enjoy them growing, and getting your first pretty bra! Its all part of growing up. I would advise that you dont keep pushing them though, it will hurt a little after a while, just let them grow. Anything else you can email me hun xxxxx
