if your city is like mine go to the police station and they offer a study book for five dollars and study away

Go to your county library.  Ask the reference librarian for books on preparing for the law enforcement exam.  These are great to review and will give you a feel for the types of questions you might be asked. Practice taking the quizes.  They won't be exactly the same questions, but this practice will help you warm up for the test.  Good luck.

I took the test and scored 100...I would say that if you completed the 6th grade you should be fine.It's not difficult at all;the hiring standards aren't very high plus you get an extra 10 points if you're black...To sum it all up,if you're black and have a GED you will be fine...It takes more education to be a plumber.Although I scored a perfect score I didn't even get an interview;I'm not black.

Like stated above, go to the library and check those out. Also, if you have some extra cash or spare time, go to a bookstore and look at some POST exams and the such. Because sometimes the libraries are not updated in their material.
