What documents do i need to marry a syrian in syria?

i am a united states citizen i am going to syria to marry a syrian i need to know what documents i need and he need to marry anything i need to have translated etc.....

I am going through the same thing.  I was told that you need your Birth Certificate, Baptism certificate, and HIV /Aids paperwork notarized by your state.  Then it has to be sent to the legalization department.  Then it goes to the syrian embassy for their approval.

I have all that....but the trouble I am having is.....how do I send these documents from the USA to Syria?  No one will ship them there....not ups, not fedex, not dhl!
