What do you like more, the Harry Potter series or the Twilight series?

my friend seems to think that Twilight is more popular than Harry Potter so i would like to see what you think

i have never read harry potter because it was such a big book but i heard the way people talked about twilight and i decide to try to read.  once i started reading i couldn't put it down I'm my opinion twilight is better but i am also bigger on th romance books but i did like the suspense mixed with the romance

Oh no, Harry Potter is absolutely more popular than the Twilight series. The latter is popular, but it really seems to appeal to certain audiences with it's genre, while Harry Potter appeals to a much wider range/group of people. Which one do I like more? I can't really say because I haven't read the Twilight series. But I love HP.

Even though Twilight is really good, I think Harry Potter is more popular. Although, I personally like Twilight more. Harry Potter had some g*y moments...

Sorry but your friend is quite wrong. Indeed Twilight may be more popular in the romance part but in fantasy and fiction terms, Harry Potter dominates by a c**p load. Many children said they have learned to read and want to continue reading because of the Harry Potter books. I doubt you'd see kids under 12 would say that for Twilight.

Harry Potter will always be more popular. There's no question in my mind about that. However, Twilight is an excellent series. I love both and have recently been showing more love for Twilight, but the writing and character development in Harry Potter is way way way better than in Twilight.

Twilight is popular right now. It's the latest trend that will soon be out of style. Harry Potter is for the ages. It will last through the years, bringing the same magic to each generation that it brought to us. Twilight is for now. Harry Potter is forever.

But Harry Potter is aimed at a much bigger audience, and will always have more readers/fans.

Also the movies aren't too bad,

Twilight is also an awesome series, but it's fans are mainly teen-aged girls tbh. Harry Potter fans range from like, 8+. My parents read Harry Potter, and see the movies. Somehow I can't see my dad [or other dads, for that matter] reading the Twilight series.

Also the Twilight movie looks as though it'll be epic failll.

Your friend is very much wrong.

Haryy Potter is the Top- selling series of all time.

Twilight ranks #30 on that list.

Also two Harry Potter books (the first and the last) are also in the list of top 100 best selling books of all time.

None of the Twilight books are even on the list.

Nor in top 250 either.

Besides compairing their writing is like comparing a McDonalds burger, to a steak from a restaurant like Les Halles, or The Strip House.
