  1. When the court system fails us where do we turn?  When law enforcement fails us where do we turn?  I had a girlfriend that I let move in with me.  When I learned she had a drug problem, and she refuse to get counseling, she refuse to go into rehab, and she refused to move out, I went and got a restraining order along with the move out order to force her to leave.  At this point she hid from service of my restraining order for four days.  Following this she came back late on a Friday, night accuse me of being are up, at which point the police arrested me and took me to jail for four days as it was a holiday weekend.  I've never been detained little unrest in my life, it was quite an experience!  Always in jail she came to my house with a moving van and anything she didn't take was either smashed or vandalized.  She even took my dog.  While I was in jail she filed a restraining order against me and had Meserve in jail so it could even go back to my house once I got out of jail.  When we went to court on these restraining orders, it all came out that she had faked the whole thing and planted a week in advance.  A restraining order she filed against me was dropped mine was continued for three years against her and got two court orders (both of which she's refused to comply with) to return my dog.  In addition to local police are refusing to be of any help.  They saying that it is not their job to enforce court orders a civil matter.  I've spent thousands of dollars on Atty. fees.  Where do I go from here?  I thought the law was supposed to protect the innocent.  That sense I filed the restraining order, asking for my protection, my dogs projection, and the protection of my home, my house has been robbed and vandalized, my dog has been stolen, and I've been fraudulently arrested.  Although no charges were ever filed., I don't feel justice has been served in this matter.  I've been told I can go back to court and file paperwork showing she's in contempt.  It will cost thousands of dollars more, and what good will it do me? Even if I get a bench warrant issued for rest in civil court, the local please said they will refuse to serve it because it's an equal family matter not a criminal matter.  This (and I use the term lightly person) is not only laughing in the courts face, my face as well.  I'm trying to stay on the side of law here, but don't know where to turn next.  Signed B.
