A GED and a driver's license....Plus if you're black you get 10 extra points on the exam..I would say the only real characteristic you can notice across the board is that they're mostly uneducated retarded hicks that got picked on in school.

Honesty, integrity,humility, love of country. Yea, I know, there aren't many like that, but that is the way it should be.

A cop must be cool but firm....not mean but can take control and shows respect.

Strong communication skills, common sense, decision making skills, integrity, empathy, discretion.

The first three will get you hired, the last three will make you successful.
