What's the difference between Adana kebab and Urfa kebab?

  1. I'm not too sure about the differences. Maybe because of the spices used to marinate the meat. I've tried Adana kebab in a Turkish restaurant before & I really love the taste. Never heard of Urfa kebab though, sorry.

    Adana 'food kitchen' -- which feeds its populace generously on meat, grain, and milk-based products. On the one hand, that means plenty of beef, chicken, and Bulgar wheat dishes. On the other, it means lots of

    yogurt, ayran, cheese, and milk itself.

    The people of this region have a passion for spicy hot food.

    From the looks of recipes for Urfa kebab they do not use the spiciness perhaps the reason it has become famous is it is more suited to western palates
