ODI at Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts on January 9.
The home team won the toss and chose to bat first, but they were unable to do justice to the decision, owing to the assaults of Player of the Match Loubser (8-3-11-4), http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Susanna-Maria-Benade-c92039 and

The Windies Women put forth a mediocre batting performance, and while most batters managed to get starts, none were able to convert them into substantial contributions. Opener Stafanie http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 top-scored for the team with a meagre 29, and none of the remaining
batters managed to progress beyond the 20-run mark.
Top-order batters http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Merissa-Ria-Aguilleira-c75634 (17), and Kycia Knight (12), was similarly insipid.
Out of the rest of the batting order, Shaquana Quintyne (13*) was the only player who managed to reach double figures, and by the 49th over, the visitors managed to restrict the host team to 128, all out.
The Windies Women’s bowling attack hunted in a pack, with all five bowlers picking up one wicket each. For the earlier part of their innings, the SA Women looked to be in trouble, as they lost their openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Trisha-Chetty-c94414 on duck, early
in their innings.
However, Kapp (22) and skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mignon-du-Preez-c76274 (27) steadied the innings with a 45-run partnership for the third wicket. The score had gotten up to 45 when both batters were sent packing, followed by the swift dismissals of Susan Benade (3) and Cri-zelda
Brits (18).
However, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Yolandi-Potgieter-c98316 (16*) for an unbeaten 39-run partnership, which got the SA Women safely over the finish line, enabling them to reach 129 with 4 wickets still in hand, and 13 deliveries remaining.
