Visa enquiry in UK for Switzerland?

Hi,

I wish to travel to Switzerland with my family in March. I am Indian citizen, on Work Permit in UK and wanted to know if We need a VISA to travel to Switzerland. Validity of VISA for UK is till 2008.

Where can I further gather information regarding the same?

As a UK resident, you DO NOT need a visa for Switzerland.

UK tourist visa is not acceptable..

6) NATIONAL PASSPORT WITH A RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR THE UK

REGARDLESS OF NATIONALITY:

Foreign nationals not exempt from obtaining a visa under paragraphs 1 to 4 do not require a visa for

- Stamp with the statement: - There is at present no time limit…

- a right of residence in the United Kingdom as a family

member of an EEA national or Swiss national

- Leave to enter the United Kingdom…(Condition:

residence for more than 6 months)

- Leave to remain in the United Kingdom……(Condition:

residence for more than 6 months)

- The holder has leave to enter/remain that was

granted on..(Condition: residence for more than 6 months)
