Indian batsman, Venugopal Rao, wants his side, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 Daredevils, to win today’s (May 5, 2011) game against the Deccan Chargers in order to secure a place in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
Delhi sits at the 8th position on the points table with 6 points, having won just 3 out of 9 games. The upcoming game is going to be highly important for the side’s survival in the marathon.
Talking to the media, Rao said, “We need to improve our performance and we are trying hard. Let us see how it goes. The next five-six matches in the tournament are very important for us. We need to win and get into that winning mode.”
