UAE Resident Visa for Short Validity Passport?

I've a UAE resident visa, want to bring my family on company sponsored visa, but my wife has short validity passport for one year. I want to know if she will be able to get resident visa for three years. pls. advise.

  1. her passport has to have 6 months of validity left when applying for a visa,

    but, she can always have her passport renewed later on in UAE,
