Two Egg Yolks = Baby Twins?

Question

If you're eating an egg that has two yolks, does that mean if it had been born there would have been twins?

Yeah i think so. Its just a cleaving egg. Who cares..that is kind of sad though. I dont like to think about my food like that or else i wouldnt want to eat it! lol

Yes, if they can hatch.  Pick up more than one egg that didn't hatch under the hen.  Open them up and most of the were twins.  My guess is not enough room in the shell for the twins to grow.  Unlike a human uterus that expands.
