Travel time to work in Sydney?

How long would it take by train for reach Sydney's CBD for someone living say 20-25km away. And how frequent are the trains in general

as long as there are no delays should take you around 45-50mins by train and they run one every 15 mins in peak hour, less off peak.

ummm hate to be the one to point this out to you but our public transport system is chaos... trains are late, sometimes don't come and are always very crowded during peak time.

Try to get a job as close to your house as possible to avoid delays and minimise travel expenses.

In peak hour, i.e. people travelling to the city for work, trains run every 15mins. Check cityrails website and look at the timetables to work out your travel time.
