Question:

Tooth whitening burned my gums.. now what??

I treated myself to a good, at-home tooth-whitening kit. However, once I put the trays in, I felt the very tips of my gums start to tingle, then burn, and then it felt like acid was bubbling away at them. I tore the trays out, and ran to the bathroom to rinse out my mouth, and now the edges of my gums are burned bright white. I put the trays in again and now it's fine, but what has this done to my gums? Will the whiteness go away? I can't go to work tomorrow with white stained gums... it looks like I've got food stuck all over them, or some sort of disease!!

  1. I went to have my teeth done 5 days ago in a place called smile studio.
my gums are burned and very painfull and my teeth hurt to, the trouble is ive done
salt water rises for ages and the pain is the same as the day i got it done. the person who done this was to bizy looking at a dvd and not lookin at what he was doing. the 4 top front teeth have an arch pattern of white and the rest is another colour.i would say to anyone who wants this done not to do it. i am not sensitive to anything with my teeth so i dont understand why there so bad now.
