How long did it take you to find that person? How old were you and how did you come to believe this was the right one for you?

  1. I was never looking for that person.  It just happened.  I was not the girl that dreamed of her wedding day.  I met my husband when I was 34.  I'm 37 now.  We just clicked.

  2. Well, I first met him at work and instantly had this feeling of interest like I've never had before. I've never just been blown away by any guy before. We've been married a year now..but I know he's the one because no matter what I never get sick of him. I have not lost one bit of interest and still feel the same sparks as I did then.

  3. we met in 1996 when i was 20 and he was 18. we dated awhile, but i ended things because he was immature. we both went on to marry other people, each had a child and each got divorced. we reconnected in 2006 and married this past may.we neither ever got over the other. when we got back together i knew i would never let him go again.

  4. i don't think i was looking for my husband i was only 18 and a senior in high school and had my mind set on any thing other than getting married. when i met my husband he was 20 and i invited him over to my brothers for some drinks and it was an instant connection, we stayed in contact when i went back to school and the day i graduated i took a leap of faith and got on a greyhound and moved in with him. after a month of living together we decided to get married. it was nothing big really nothing at all other than going to court to get the marriage papers signed, long story short we have been married for three year as of august 19, 08. and have a wonderful 16 month old daughter. i'll be 22 next month and always tease him that he stole my innocence and youth but we are still happy and going strong, although both of our families doubted us lasting at such a young age

  5. I was 22 he was 32   i saw him he saw me i asked him out ...we were never apart after 28 years of marrige till he died.....now i am lost! sometimes i wonder if true love is worth it once a partner dies and you are left alone longing to die so you can be with your true love

  6. I wasn't even looking for a relationship. I was already in one, although in hindsight I'll admit the relationship was on it's last legs. I let myself be talked into escorting a girl to a dance as a favor to a friend. I was 16. I don't know, it just, we just clicked like we had always been together. I ended the other relationship after about 10 days, and we've been together ever since. Dated 2 years, been married for 31.
