  1. I think it caused a lot of division and hatred. There were animosities between French and English and a lot of English hated the French for what they were trying to do. People moved out of Quebec or threatened to if the Referendum passed. People flooded Quebec from all over Canada, fighting and rallying to keep Quebec a part of Canada.

    Teenagers divided themselves based and language and there was a lot of fighting between English and French teens.
