Taking out a labret piercing?

I got my lip pierced over the summer but now I'm going back to school and I need to take it out. It's healed up fine and is ready to take out, the only problem is, I don't know how! It's the basic ring and ball and people tell me it's easy to take out but I'm scared of pulling at it too much and it ripping my lip

  1. Nice and easy,  Just firmly grip the ring in one hand and with the other just "pop" the ball out..

Now putting the ball back in can be tricky.. The more you do it the easier it becomes.

  2. i had real trouble trying to get the ball on the hoop so i had to go back to my piercer for him to put it on in the end. i can't remember how i got it off but i think it's MUCH easier than trying to get it on. like someone said above me, just hold the ring tightly and pull the ball off. if you really can't do it, go back to your piercer or just go to a piercer and they can get it on and off very easily.

  3. i don't have my lip pierced.....yet, but when u go to take it out,be very careful!!!!!

but if ur in high school, u don't have to take it out. nobody does at my high school and the principals and teachers say we can't have any piercings at all!!!

but nobody listens. they won't say anything to u cuz ur old enough to drop out and they don't want that to happen so.......

    anyway....good luck!!
