Survival Sunday and Weekend Sports Betting Tips

Although I’m gutted that I won’t be able to watch any of the football on Survival Sunday due to the fact that I have to be on a barge somewhere in the South of France, where I’m based for a week with my family, which will probably end up being either a week of bliss or torture, that hasn't stopped me from betting on each match. Most of my spare change is on United to beat Blackpool with an exact score of 3-1 at odds of 13.5, and I’m laying Wigan in the match against Stoke at odds of 2.6.  For Blackburn v Wolves, it could be a close match but I do think Wolves will win it and therefore I’m backing them at odds of 2.2.
As for Tottenham v Birmingham, I’m sure everyone will think I’m absolutely bonkers, but I’m going to back Birmingham because, after seeing them put everything into the match against Arsenal to win the Carling Cup, I believe they could put on a similar performance in this match to ensure they stay up this season. So I’m betting they’ll win by the skin of their teeth with a full time score of 2-1 at odds of 6.8.
The F1 practise session in Spain has got off to a great start and I am quietly confident Red Bull’s Webber will make a second consecutive win on the Barcelona track this weekend after gaining runner up position in Turkey two weeks ago and pole position here last year. Vettel is currently the favourite so I’ve put a small amount on him to lose at odds of 1.84, whilst backing Webber at odds of 5.9.
Looking at the racing scene, how exciting it is for the Queen to own a favourite that’s running in the Epsom Derby? She must be ecstatic! As for this weekend, my attention is on Goodwood’s ITWCP FESTIVAL STAKES and Al Zir who’s ridden by the lovely Frankie Dettori.
Moving on to cricket, I’m looking forward to the first test between England and Sri Lanka next week and hopefully I’ll be able to find some sort of signal for my iphone so that I can follow the score on Twitter or on Bettor’s cricket page. It should be a relatively easy win for England so I’m backing them to win at odds of 1.97. Meanwhile I’m impressed with Warney losing 22 pounds in weight, who is today allegedly playing his last game of cricket. Well done Liz Hurley for the transformation!
Tonight, however, it's the next round of heats for the Wimbledon Greyhound Derby, and my eyes are on Krug Ninety Five. I thought he showed huge potential in the http://Bettor.com Scottish Derby and although he failed to reach the finals I still feel he has something extra that could be revealed this time.
Anyway, with all my holiday cash spent on my bets it's a good job there'll be nothing to do next week but to sit on that barge. I'll be back the week after though as we'll be putting together a few last details for greyhound racing’s inaugural Northern Irish Derby, which, by the way, starts on Saturday 4 June. So enjoy your weekend and good luck with your bets!
