  1. get the 18-200mm lens, it's the best hands down.

That has a very useful focal range of 18-200mm's, which is more zoom than the other lenses. Don't get the 18-135mm lens, photographers dont' like the image quality, and have a lot of complaints about it, as you can see right here:

go to the reviews, they're very mixed

Sometimes, you pay for what you get, and this is just like that. This lens ( 18-200mm ) is more expensive than both of them, because it has  VR and has more focal length than the other two.

that's what Gordon Laing has to say about this lens, he really likes it. This lens is much better than the other two. It has much more of a focal zoom. And, you never know when you'll have to zoom from wide angle to telephoto. This lens is the most useful to have.

  2. yeah go with the 18-200

  3. You should also consider the 16-85mm. It has been getting very good reviews and is a little wider on the wide end which can make a big difference. Personally i wouldn't want to get a lens with such a huge range like the 18-200mm. You can see the lens and read reviews here http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/54...
