At about the same time two days in a row i will see what looks like a camera flash or lightning flash go over my husband. He does not see it because i will ask him if he just seen that flash of light and he says no. Its strange because its in the house and happens for a quick second. It is not dark at the time either. The only way I can describe it is like a camera flash. It is really freaking me out. It is not coming from outside because It kinda starts from a wall and moves but like a camera flash. It happens between 8:30- 9pm . It is still daylight here but sun is going down. There is no other light source. It happened in two different rooms in the house and the same thing happens. The windows always have the shades down plus it is a light that is really bright and not the colors of sunlight. It is a bright pure white color. It is brighter than car headlights also. So we can rule that out.

Not sure guys I'm 13. Yrs of age and a couple years ago my sis and I were going to turn the pipe of water the swamp cooler outside saw a circle of of light flash down once for two seconds what does this mean I started searching this today 4/20/2014 happy Easter also saw it In the driveway to with my sis again two seconds

I was watchin tv with my friend and about ten mins ago i saw like a camera flash outside my window and my blinds are closed mostly all the way and there is a small space where you can see out i also heard tapping on my window and im scared because she is ten and im nine

You may not like this answer, but it may be ball-lightning. It can sometimes travel along ceilings and flash thru a room so fast that it will leave a trail owing to the responsivity of the eyes. My sister once saw one ball of plasma extrude itself thru a plastic screen on a window in Ithaca NY. They sometimes reoccur in a particular area owing to weather conditions. Do not try and touch one of these. One person did this thinking it was an angel of all things, and it fried her nervous system.

It happened here with me, in Brazil, and I arrived until here looking for to understand what it happened. Vi a green light, in the wall of a room of the house. I was seated in the sofa in another room, but vi the light for the door. Later, in my house I saw a blue light between it I sing of the wall and the ceiling, very fast, a shining light, but that he does not illuminate.
Who only saw would have to postar its story here. Who did not see is to say nothing of useful
Last night the loud sound of my wood blinds flapping up and down woke me up out of my sleep. They forcefully shut then I saw a bright streak of white light flash across my room past the door. The next occurence was even more bizzare. A flash of light almost like the light that comes from lightening coming from my living room. Then the sound of wine glasses clanking togethor from my wine glass holder in the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen and living room and saw nothing. The strange part about it I was not scared at all which is unlike me. I was more in a frame of mind of shocked and wondering what I just saw. I can't explain it, I searched on net today and found this sight with many people experiencing the same thing. I even checked to see if any earthquakes were reported although I live in an area that earthquakes are not common.
I don't believe in supernatural explanations but this just happened to me. I was watching something on youtube and glance to the right a little and a orange flash of light scares me because there is nothing but a wall right by me. The color spectrum of the light was similar to an hence the orange color. But it was very bright and quick, I wonder if my internal graphics card is working correctly?
This phenomenom has been occuring with a great many people, mostly in the last month. Although I agree with the seeing an eye doctor, I find it interesting I am hearing this from so many people.
Wow. I have been trying to find this same question since Oct 2010. There is something going on and it is NOT peoples eye sight or electrical. If people read many of the above responses they will see that several other people or at least two people at the exact same time see the same flash of light! How can a couple or several people see this same flash, like a camera go off in the exact same area?? Please, eye problem with everyone at the exact same time or migraine! I don't think so...This is happening around the world if you read where people are responding from and most of this is happening the past year and half. I have no Idea what it is and I too have experienced the exact same thing! We may never know.

Wow...I have been looking for this exact same question. I have the exact same thing happening but others see it with me in my home. What is it? It has happened several times since Oct. 2010 til Feb. 2011. Hope someone has some input on this!
A little more than four years ago my mother and I were greeted by a blinding white flash when we got home from shopping. Later that day, it happened again. I had to blog about it, hoping someone would comment with a similar experience. I have a dozen theories but no real grasp on what really happened at our house that day. after my father passed my 7 yr old son and I both saw a flash of bright white light (more like a white blob and white tail) dart past us. I asked him if he saw that light and he said yes. I asked him to draw what he saw before I started to really go in detail with describing it. When he drew it, it was the exact same thing I saw. To this day it freaks us both out and he likes to change the subject. I know we are not crazy. I was in my apartment around 6:30-7pm in a low light setting. There weren't any cars or bright lights that could have set this off either. It's just crazy. I never used to really believe in ghosts but this makes me wonder. We never saw the image again after that night.
Well, yesterday 02/28/2011, I was watching youtube. Look up "Inner Earth, Egypt, & Consciousness - Brooks Agnew Part 5" (I think it was part 5, if not part 4).
He talks about how top physicists have been noticing that photons (light) have been manifesting from what they believe are other dimesnions and because of our awakening consciousness, we are able to see this ourselves.
I had actually come to this conclusion myself and when he talked about it, it just confirmed this in my mind.

I hate people statements about your getting "blind", "see a psychiatrist", "it's and angel", "your crazy". I mean, why such aggresivness answers. People is sharing a concern and if you don't have any answers DO NOT make assumptions or stupid statements, c'mon. I can tell you that I wouldn't beleive it, but it just happened yesterday to me. It was like a camera flashing. It only was a perfect round pale yellow light crossing my living room and the stairs. Back and forth. It freak me out, because there is no way someone was trying a prank on me. Or a light from outside. Shutter down around 3:00 pm. The most impressive was the sightening form the living room through the stairs, because they're separated by a perpendicular 10' wall. So...It happened in less than 2 sec. There's got to be an explanation and I'm not will rest until I find out. I'm a computer science engineer, I've never seen a ghost, angel or UFO in my life. This is REALLY worth investigation.
Solar flares? Please. *ptchpthhh* They were obviously ghosts. I have seen ghosts before and had a psychic friend confirm my visions.
I have had many encounters with spirits and such. There is no other explenation.

I can't believe you all have seen it too!!! I've been wondering for SO long!
I've been pissed off these past years wondering what's the point of living/if there is a point: why don't we get helped? What are angels, why aren't they with me, etc? So I just decided to start talking to them. About everything. I didn't care if they heard me. I simply wanted to understand the universe, but things in my life are still quite tough.
Then, a week ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and I see this weird thing around my bed. Like a shell covering me. I'm not scared but a bit perplexed. The "shell" consisted of multiple pentagon shapes, it was beautiful. Mathematically perfect. I have no clue what it was.
And besides that, I've been seeing flashes of light in my room (like a white fog) on the corner of my eyes. So I just thought it was something wrong with my eyes. But JUST now, this afternoon, I look at the table in my room (just thinking randomly before heading to the computer) and this spark of fire comes up from behind the table! There was no doubt: I really saw it this time! Directly! I have noooo idea what it was but I didn't get scared this time either, so I hope it's not anything spiritually haunting me. It was rather beautiful..

This just happened to me tonight at 20:30 roughly. first time I have seen it and was waiting for a clap of thunder to follow but it was not lightning. The spooky thing is my wife and mother saw it too. they both described it as being a bright white light and I said no it was blue but we all saw it and was sure it came from within the house and not from the kitchen window. I was hoping someone somewhere had an explanation for this but alot of people have experienced similar incidents at least. Very strange indeed......
This happened to my girlfriend about three days ago...She said she saw an orange light against our fridge, about half the size of a regular piece of paper...She said it was about as bright as a flashlight and it lasted maybe a second or half second. I really don't think a square light of any type occurs in nature randomly. She is of sane mind and perfectly healthy, including her eyes. We also don't believe in aliens of ghosts and have easily ruled that out. So what in the f was it?
this literally just happened...I work at a hotel and at the moment its just me alone here (we're are severely short staffed and we have no one in the hotel)
And I saw a flash...lit up everything, and i'm sitting at the front desk on the second floor...and it happened in the corridor to my left. All the lights are soft dimmed yellow bulbs.... there was no sound only a bright flash...it really freaked me out and I dont need to get my eyes checked because the security camera we have in the hall picked up the change in the lighting.
The light was a bright white flash with a slightly blue tint to it. At first I thought it was lightning and was waiting for the crack of thunder (that never came) but the hall has no view to the outside...

Okay this just happened to me today (late Jan 2011). I was Sitting at my kitchen table, my son's friend was also in the kitchen at the counter preparing a snack when a bright streak of light or long flash lit up one side of the room. At first I thought it was electrical but it was so high in the air, over our heads, and there are no outlets or electrical devices that high in our kitchen. We were kinda weirded out by it all. This has never happened before. Any ideas? Anyone?

I have experienced this same thing once. I was laying down after writing music, staring at the ceiling, when suddenly a perfect circle appeared on my ceiling directly above me. I was strangely overcome with a humbled feeling, and I began to admire the light. My friend was on the couch next ot me, and I asked him if he saw the light, but he didn't. He believed me because of the look on my face I'm sure. My eyes wouldn't stop watering and I was stunned and I couldn't stop watching. After 3 min. or so the perfect circle began circling above me, in a perfect circle on my ceiling, following the contour of the heating duct a textures that were above me. THIS s**t WAS REAL!
Then after about 3 more min. it stopped where it started, directly above my head. I was still on my back. Then these different colored star shaped patterns appeared. I've seen the same star-shaped object on various website and historic drawings. By this time, my friend left because I was obviously having some strange experience. I didn't notice him leave of course. The lights seemed to know I was watching them. They began to spin clockwise very quickly and then slow down very smoothly, and begin spinning the opposite direction. THen, out of no where, the perfect circle would appear and start moving in a circular pattern above me just like before. The two differet lights would go back and forth for at least 30 min. I thought that I saw shadows on the walls around me, but the lights were so amazingly impressive I wasn't even frightened by the shadows.
My friends brushed it off when I told them more about it, but I will never forget it. Has anyone else seen these lights? Why did they choose that moment and why couldn't my friend see them?
I JUST had this happen to me two nights ago. I was actually asleep (or dozing off at least) and was abruptly awakened by a very bright white flash in my room beside my bed. It seemed as though it happened above me and off to the side...it all happened so quickly - it didn't linger.
For the record - my room was completey dark and the house is out in the country. I have also been more alert in terms of hearing things at night outside....very strange and I am so very tired in the morning. I feel like I am sleeping ok, but apparently not!

I have seen it too. I was at home by myself writing a song sitting on my couch, it was daytime and rite to the left of me this Bright White lookin star appeared out of nowhere. It was like a mini cylinder it emitted little beams off of it giving it a star appearance. I looked to see if it was coming from the window and it wasn't. It's weird but I think it is a hologram from another world. I have been seeing a lot of weird things in my house lately.
Okay.....rule the eyes thing out for sure.......so many have written about this and proved it's not the eyes. As for solar flashes etc.....forget it......they are not in your kitchen! So let's see......I have seen two flashes in the sky, across the street, in each room of my house, and so have my husband and son in different rooms and in the sky. Sometimes it's one flash. The best one I have seen is a large flash behind my sis (who didn't see it) and for a second I could see the outline of a very tall person within the light......the light was so bright it knocked me off my feet, I fell back into the chair. To me it's spiritual beings, aliens, or angels....whatever you want to call them...appearing for a second and whose light is so bright it momentarily blinds us or flashes in our eyes to let us know that they are there and watching over us. So don't worry......when you see the flash, just try to communicate and say hello. I did this.....when I saw one flash in the sky and asked them to flash the light again so my husband could see it with me and they did......they did this twice for me. So maybe it's just that.....they want to communicate with you. We are opening up to the light more and more......everywhere you look there is some form of psychic awareness program on TV to help you understand more and open your mind to other possibilities......so instead of being scared........just thank them for coming.....it's a rare privilege. ITS NOT BAD EYES .... ITS NOT A TORCH ....
Last night (Friday 14th January 2011) my partner and I were sitting in the living room with the computer in front of us on the dining table - My partner was facing the computer and I was facing him so looking at the side of his face from a meter away.
Neither of us has any kind of eye problems. Neither has had any eye injuries or glasses or anything like this.
I clearly saw three circles appear on the side of his face and head and another flash in front of me. The three on his face were the same size almost like traffic lights ..... three perfect circles of bright blue light - they were 2 dimensional and perfect. flat stuck to him like a light but .... what kind of light can focus such a perfect beam other than a laser .... but I have not seen a laser that makes a circle this big .... these three circles were approx 6cm in diameter .... There was nothing facing the side of his head that could have caused a light or reflection... We live in the mountains in the bush and even during the day it is really dark in the house we are buried in thick cover of trees .... no lights ever come in here from anywhere.
He said 'did you see that?' .... I said 'what did you see? I saw something'.... He said he saw a bright blue light appear near his face in the corner of his eye and zoom in and felt a warm sensation near the side of his head . he said it was like a fuzzy glowing ball and was incredibly bright .... it was nothing like a flash going off from my point of view other than when we blinked we could both see a memory of it for about 5 mins and were able to tell each other exactly how it appeared
I asked him what colour it was and he pointed at a box on the computer screen - a bright blue like the sky on a sunny day - exactly the same thing I saw...
...we have no clue what caused it but our joint impression was that it came from inside the room somewhere and disappeared

woah this has happened to me but when i first started seeing it, it wasnt indoors. The first time i saw it was when i was driving home and i looking into the top of a tree and boom there was a flash. and it randomly happens to me. at my house. at other peoples houses. school. almost anywhere
u people make me laugh when u say get ya eyes checked, had a familiar experience witnessed by two other people, but before it happened the door to the passageway opened by it self followed by the "camera flash". duh do u think we got an eye sight problem....

I've seen the flash of light before and have it on video taken indoors in a low lighted room. Months before I got it on video, I kept seeing it out of the corners of my eyes. So I went to opthamologist because it could have been retina detaching. But the doctor said my eyes are very healthy. I do suggest going to the doctor to rule it out. Retina detaching is pretty serious and a tough recovery. But what I saw cannot be explained.
I two see these on a frequent basis; usually it is a single flash but today I saw four in a straight line all equidistant from each other. This normally occurs when I make a sudden movement with my head and is accompanied with a painless subtle jerking sensation.

Ok, this happend on the second of December. I saw it twice. The first time that i saw it i was on my computer near a window at my grandma's. From the house opposite i saw something like a camerea flash that was blue. It happend alot of times. When i went home, I was watcing tv wen i saw it for the second time. It was like a blue camera flash agan. This time, I didnt just see it but my mum saw it too. It came from the trees in my back garden. When i first saw it at my grandma's i thought that someone would have just been taking pictures of the snow. But when i saw it in my back garden there was nobody in there so me and my mum just freaked out. I have never seen it before so i am wondering if it could be something to do with the snow?
This could be a serious eye problem. The retina could be detaching. You need to see a doctor to rule this out first. The look to these other things. This is something that if left untreated could cause permanent blindness.
I have to wonder if the light is energy from a person that recently passed away. That was something I found in common with a few people who experienced the same.
I too just experienced this. At 12:21 on November 19, 2010, it is daylight, I had the TV on but it was on LINE and the PC was plugged in as well and charging, our blackout curtains weren't pulled back and the space heater was running. I was on the phone and it's as if it came from behind the curtain and filled the room with a blinding pure white light but only for a second. Then it was as if it disappeared back into the curtains. After the light disappeared the TV was completely off and my PC was no longer charging. I have everything plugged into a surge protector and those were the only two things effected, the space heater didn't go off and it was plugged into the same thing. Also the person I was on the phone with said the phone broke up when I experienced this, they know this because I said " Did you just see that!?" Thinking it was something from outside that everyone was a witness to. I've had paranormal things happen all my life, but nothing like this, I can't even say it's paranormal. All I know is I saw it too and it startled me.

This strange flash of light happened to me as well, so I won't go into too much detail. I was laying in bed and it happened, it was similar to this "camera flash" that came from my furniture top. I got out of bed turned on my lights to see what it was, nothing. Nothing could have possibly made the flash. During the time of the flash I was thinking deeply about random subjects and possibilities, and also felt a sensation that I was not alone in the room. I don't know if that had any effect on the sponatneous flash, but it's just what had happened. I'm glad to hear I am not alone, and is this a recent thing that is happening to people? I have yet to find anything but this blog. Novemeber 12, 2010 is when this event occured. I hope someone can piece something together, and have an open mind about our situation. I saw this light too and, I saw it very clearly. The electricity had gone out and i woke up in pitch blackness, and had sort of a strange feeling that someone was in the room.. I was just freaking myself out.. But then suddenly the last thing i ever expected happened.
About 3 feet in front of my face, a light like a camera flash went off. It did it once at first, and then maybe 2 seconds later started flashing like crazy and moving. I am living in alaska, at 6 am during november it is pitch black outside. My blinds were closed. There was no light in the room. The light continued to flash and move even after i jumped out of bed, because i used the ambient light from the flashing to help me find a light source- my laptop. Once i got the laptop on and turned around, there was nothing there. Creepiest thing that has ever happened to me.
It had to be real, not something in my eye, or something from outside. First of all I could see the source of the light, it was just hovering in mid air. Also if it was something in my eye, or i was just imagining it, it wouldn't have been able to light up the room and allow me to navigate through a pitch black room. It lasted for 10 seconds, easliy, until i was able to get some light into the room.
