Stosur still hunting top 10 ranking

Sam Stosur is, paradoxically, out but not down. She may have lost her fourth round match to Serena Williams at the Australian Open, but the world No. 13 still has her sights set on cracking the top 10 in 2010. The Australian improves on her 3rd round showing at the 2009 Australian Open at this year’s tournament, so will pick up a few rankings points to get her started.

I don't fancy her chances. Too many younger, taller girls improving beyond Sammmy's level

Sammy's best surface is probably grass, but with the English tennis season being so short, and her current form not likely to give her a favourable seeding at Wimbledon, I don't see her picking up many ranking points even in mid summer
