For the sport question:

1) Football (real footbal, with the feet, not american football). And french players are often the best players in english, spanish or italian teams.

2) Rugby, semi-finals to the last world cup.

3) Basketball and Handball. Those teams did good stuffs sometimes. And don't forget that Tony Parker is french...And we have some great swimmers too.

Le Mont Blanc IS the highest point of the Alpes.
