South Pacific Islands?

My husband and I are considering a cruise to the South Pacific Islands. Has anyone been to any of the islands? If so, could you please share your experiance?

Yes, last year we cruised from Australia to LA. It was a 29 day repositioning cruise, so we hit many of the pacific islands. We went to Bora. Bora, cook islands, Raratonga, Tahiti, etc. It was a very exciting trip and every island had something different to offer. My favorite was Bora Bora and are planning to go back for a weeks vacation at this time. Everyone was so very friendly at all the islands. I was somewhat surprised to see people still living with dirt floors on some of the islands, plus the kids never wear shoes. I would highly recommend a cruise to any of the South Pacific Island. Our cruise was with Princess and we have done 8 cruises with them. Love it.

I have been interested in this area for a while but the cost from the UK is pretty steep, which is why we usually cruise other areas. Anyway here is a review I found, written August 2007 by a cruise travel specialist.
