So You Think likely to win 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales´s Stakes
So You Think has been awarded excellent odds for the 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales´s Stakes (British Champions Series) (Group 1) at Ascot in England on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. A cash prize of £283,550 will be given the winner of the class-1 event.
The going will be good to soft in the 1 mile 2 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 15:45 GMT, and a total of 11 runners will be seen in action in it. Their names are as follows: So You Think, Carlton House, Farhh, Planteur, Reliable Man, Wigmore
Hall, City Style, Colombian, Big Blue Kitten, Sri Putra and Robin Hood.
Although there are some very good runners lined up for action in the race, the best chances of victory are with So You Think. He has got some useful experience and his performances in recent times have been exceptional. His strike rate is also on the higher
side, which will encourage the punters to place a lot of bets on him.
The six-year-old horse has participated in 22 events, winning 13 of them and finishing runner up on four times. In addition to that, he has also secured the third spot once, which means that he only dropped out of the top three on four occasions.
In his most recent run, the A. P. O'Brien’s trainee did a fabulous job and took the top spot by six lengths. He was rated as the favourite to win back then and did not disappoint his fans in the end.
A similar run would definitely put So You Think in contention of another victory. He will be ridden by young jockey, J. P. O'Brien, who is a very decent rider. Although he does not have a lot of experience, his strike rate is quite impressive. He will be
full of confidence heading into this race and the punters will also be eager to place a lot of bets on him.
There is also a chance for Carlton House to cause a few problems for his rivals at Ascot, as he is a fine runner. He has participated in six events, winning three of them whereas took the runner up and third spot on one time each.
