  1. snowboarding takes a lot of skill, and a lot of balance!!!! cheerleading , um wow jump up and down and clap your hands that's real hard, it may take skill but not as much..... so yes they are insane. snowboarding is the best sport EVER! i don't think cheerleading should be considered a sport! but if that is what they are in to then you cant really change there choice.

  2. i think it would have to be cheerleading. i mean come on all snowboarders do is like go down a mountain!

    NO SKILL

but cheerleaders they have to be like super duper skilled to do the stuff that they do!

    like jump and yell

    woah thats skill!

    I <3 cheerleaderssssssssssssssss

  3. Cheerleading and snowboarding both take time, effort and ability.

You think its easy going down a hill at 20MPH+ at a 120 degree angle? do you think its easy to do a 360 spin out of a cradle or a liberty? (i think tht wht they are?) It takes practice at both to get the hang of anything. Being an amatur snowboarder and touring world wide i beleive that it is harder snowboarding than cheerleading. While living on a tour bus and sleeping in hotel rooms is not all as fun as it is, it is hecktick with travel and upkeep of your physical fittness as well as your mental. but all in all do what you have the most fun at:)

  4. SNOWBOARDING. No doubt. Cheerleading is for chicks that only have looks and they're normally S****y. Snowboarding needs passion and you dont snowboard for anyone else but yourself. Cheerleaders cheerlead because they cant do gymnastics.

  5. Snowboarding because it takes skill. Cheerleading takes no skill.

  6. Snowboarding for sure.  It is way more fun, exhilarating, and can be very social too.

  7. Haha cheerleading is the sport for idiots.  Snowboarding and skiing are way better than cheerleading.  Cheerleading is completely pointless and takes a TON of time for how stupid and pointless it is.  Girls at my school are constantly leaving for "nationals" i swear like once a week, and when I asked them about it they're like "well there can be more than one nationals, DUH"

    ......ok....

  8. haha snowboarding taking no skill and cheerleading taking sooo much. lfmao hahahahahaha.  how bout u strap on a board and just "ride down a hill" hahaha.

But to answer the ? Snowboarding is great.  no required practice, do what you want, chill wit yo friends its amazing

btw i know cheerleading takes skill to but once you board you will realize how much skill it takes just to slide down a small slope.  then go on booters and kinked rails.

  9. No skill?  Right, let's see you try a rodeo.  Last time I checked, a lot more injuries happen snowboarding.  And you go a lot higher and faster.  I'm not saying Cheerleading doesn't take skill, I just don't think it takes as much as snowboarding.  "Ride down a hill"  Let me guess, these are also the gapers that stare at something for 20 mins in front of it while people who actually want to hit it wonder if they're ever going to drop.  And then the gaper rides away just to fall 10 feet away.  Ride down a hill.  Straight down will almost guarantee you a edge catching if you don't know what you're doing.

Then add in carving, boxes, rails, jumps, walls, just about everything else, then hitting it switch, corked, and now one footed.

Tell me that doesn't take any skill.  Oh and cheerleaders practice with mats and people catching them.

Snowboarding...once you get addicted, it's like a drug.  Except it could be your anti-drug.  The same could be said for cheerleading, but when you're just on the mountain on an ideal day with your crew or by yourself, something happens.  And when you stomp that trick, you feel this sensation come over you.

I think the closest parallel you can draw to snowboarding is surfing.  People live right on the shore just to wake up early to catch the waves.  Snowboarders live right by the mountain and get up just as early to get the first runs in on that crunchy corduroy groomer.

So, that's my take.  Snowboarding owns cheerleading.

  10. so i'm a pretty harcore snowboarder and i've also been a cheeleader for several years. here's my take,

they are both sports because they both require skill and physical demands, but there is absolutley no way that you can compare the two in terms of best and worst because they are so different.  there are virtually no similarities between the two, cheerleading is intensly performance oriented and it takes a lot of work, skill, energy, and endurance to put together routines, dances, stunts, and jumps (especially all combined). Snowboarding also requires skill and practice but it is an individual sport that is more competition and personal goal oriented.

there is very little common ground between the two. they are both very intense and demanding but they are, on the whole, they are based on very different ideas and they often appeal to very different types of peoplee (just not me!). overall you cannot classify one or the other as best based on any particular merit other than your own preferences (and only if you have actually attempted both).

  11. SNOWBOARDING:) that's just because that's what I do. honestly, no one understands the skill it takes to ride. I am the only girl at my school that can pull anything and my best friend right behind me. I love snowboarding and the rush you get from it. it takes hard work and determination.

On the other hand, I love the bring it on movies and think that it takes a lot of skill.

    GIRL SNOWBOARDERS ROCK THE WORLD!!!!

  12. i think they're both sports, but to me, snowboarding would be way more fun because ur like riding down a hill and stuff. exhilarating. but cheerleading is also cool cuz you get to socialize and jump and stuff. ya know, if you like that type of thing. but they're definitely both sports. haha even though i don't do either one. :)...and i hope i know what i'm talking about

  13. snowboarding, but whatever you're passionate about.

  14. Hey

I've done both, snowboarded for years and cheered at national levels and I must say snowboarding is way better.  quit cheerleading and I want to snowboard forever!

  15. cheerleading becaues you can be strong
