  1. As stated before it's a classic because, this revolver is a replica of the original .357 magnum first produced in the 1930's. Blue satin steel and walnut stocks, this is when handguns were works of art not ugly pieces of plastic.

  2. Because it was the first Original Model of the 357 Magnum.* Historical and Heavier Model.*

  3. basically because it is a re-creation of an old classic (instant collectible) and is made supposedly to same high standards as original (quality costs money) and there will probably be a limited number made (supply & demand)

  4. It's the Classic Highway Patrolman. Big frame 357 magnum.

  5. They are supposed to be copies of the original which is now considered a classic.  It really is a fine revolver.  I have an original Model 28 S&W, which was the Highway Patrol Model of the Model 27.  The Model 27 had a nicer finish.
